Haber
Official Bio:
Haber is designed by Heather Haber of Los Angeles. After receiving her BFA from Otis College of Art and Design, where she was given the Nordstrom's Golden Thimble Award and featured in window of Neiman Marcus Beverly Hills, the Miami-native gained experience at threeASFOUR in New York City and Band of Outsiders in Los Angeles. Haber was created as an outlet to create dreamy and melancholic pieces with strong attention to detail, as seen in the handsewn and embellished details in each and every piece. Haber was nominated for the 2013 Ecco Domani Award by Cameron Silver of Decades, who said “The tightly edited ten piece collection got me as excited as when I was the first person to see Kate and Laura Mulleavy's debut collection of Rodarte.”
The name "Haber" comes from Heather's great grandmother’s name, Helen Haber. Her name was always this mythical thing to me; reminding me of the old movie starlets from the Golden Age era of Hollywood. When I was little, the stories I was told about her made me dream of a certain cool glamour. Haber stands for something personal yet aspirational, representing the essence of a mysteriously cool and magical woman.
