Designer Hillary Taymor brings a breath of fresh air to the fashion scene with her New York based line, Collina Strada. Clean lines and clean fabrics give the collection a timeless quality that feels natural yet modern. Leather and sheer chiffon intermingle, creating the perfect balance of structure vs. lightness, edgy vs. delicate, masculine vs. feminine. The way in which each look was styled was what we found most refreshing and inspiring. Unconventional layering and monochromatic color schemes give each look a strong and unified identity, resulting in a raw and refined yet directional collection.
